Hirsch & Associates Welcomes Annie Ulevitch as New Senior Director

San Francisco, CA – Hirsch & Associates Philanthropic Advisors is thrilled to announce that Annie Ulevitch has joined the firm as a new Senior Director. Annie will join the firm’s Senior Management Team and provide strategic leadership on numerous philanthropic portfolios. Annie joins the Hirsch & Associates team during a time of exciting growth at the firm, which has added eight new team members in the past year.

Hirsch & Associates Philanthropic Advisors is a leader in the field of philanthropic advising. The firm was founded 20 years ago in San Francisco, at a time when philanthropic advising was an emerging field. With deep community roots in the Bay Area – an epicenter of innovation and social change – Hirsch & Associates has been partnering with philanthropists to create change in our local communities and beyond, directing over $100M in grantmaking annually.

Most recently, Annie served as Chief Operating Officer at Tipping Point Community where she oversaw the finance, operations, and human resources units for the game-changing Bay Area philanthropic organization aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty in the region. During her tenure, she successfully led the $90M+ organization through a period of exponential growth, developing and implementing critical internal systems and processes to effectively manage change.

Annie began her career in New York City, working for the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation. After completing her J.D. at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, she specialized in criminal defense in private practice before transitioning to the city’s Department of Education, where she held a variety of leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer for the Senior Deputy Chancellor & Chief Academic Officer. Annie holds a B.A. in History from Columbia University.
